Following a period of sustained growth, they are now looking to welcome an experienced Legal Cashier to their expanding finance team. Key ResponsibilitiesIn this varied and rewarding role, you will:
*Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and nominal ledgers
*Carry out daily banking, cheque preparation, and invoice processing
*Open, maintain, and close ledger accounts with precise, timely data entry
*Reconcile client deposit, bank, and building society accounts
*Ensure strict compliance with CLC Accounts Rules, audit requirements, and all relevant regulations
*Work closely with Property Lawyers to resolve ledger queries and balance discrepancies
*Manage credit control activities, including monitoring aged debt
*Process supplier invoices, payments, and direct debits
*Contribute to the preparation of management information, budgets, financial reports, and forecasts
*Support the wider finance team with additional duties as needed
About YouYou will be a proactive, detail-driven finance professional with 1–2 years’ experience in a legal accounting environment. You should be currently studying for your AAT qualification, or ready to begin a recognised professional accounting pathway. Strong communication skills, accuracy, and a commitment to best practice are essential.
