Commercial & Operational Executive | Bath, UK | Up to £40,000 + Growth Opportunities

This is not a sit-back role. You’ll be right at the centre of the action, fuelling new business, supporting global customers, and keeping operations running smoothly behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities of the Commercial & Operational Executive;
Drive Growth & Open Doors
*Identify and research new customers, partners, and routes to market globally
*Build high-quality lead lists and support outbound campaigns (email, phone, LinkedIn)
*Spark interest, qualify opportunities, and book meetings for senior team members
*Prepare sharp, insightful meeting briefs that set conversations up for success
Keep Customers Moving Forward
*Stay connected with customers and partners, building momentum and trust
*Spot opportunities (reorders, upsell signals, decision-makers)
*Keep communication flowing and ensure nothing falls through the cracks
*Act as the glue between commercial, technical, and operations teams
Own Stock Awareness & Delivery Coordination
*Monitor stock against demand and upcoming opportunities
*Raise orders proactively and manage lead times intelligently
*Keep a clear view of risks, availability, and delivery timelines
*Communicate confidently and accurately with customers
Be Part of the Action at Events
*Support international trade exhibitions from planning to execution
*Represent the business, engaging visitors and identifying opportunities
*Capture leads and turn conversations into follow-ups
*Deliver post-event insights that shape future strategy
Keep Everything on Track
*Maintain a clean, up-to-date CRM with clear next steps and insights
*Track outreach, pipeline progress, and commercial activity
*Manage shared inboxes and ensure fast, professional responses
*Continuously improve simple processes, trackers, and coordination
What We’re Looking For
*You’re organised, commercially aware, and ready to take ownership. You thrive in a role where no two days are the same.
*Experience in sales support, business development, partnerships, or commercial operations
*Strong communicator with excellent follow-through
*Confident researching, reaching out, and building relationships
*Commercially savvy, especially when managing expectations and timelines
*Detail-oriented and comfortable using CRM systems
*Open to occasional UK and international travel

*Experience in a start-up or scale-up environment
*Exposure to stock planning, manufacturing, or supply chains
*Worked with international customers or partner networks
