Business Development Manager
Permanent
Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm with flexibility for offsite meetings
Stoke on Trent
£30,000 + uncapped commission

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager to join a dynamic and growing fitness/wellness business.

The role is perfect for someone passionate about sales, building relationships, and driving growth within a fast-paced and energetic environment.

With the opportunity to work autonomously, support customers nationwide and an opportunity to travel internationally for events and expos across industry-recognised events.

Key Responsibilities

*Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the company’s client base.
*Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
*Lead sales initiatives from prospecting to closing, including proposal preparation and contract negotiation.
*Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to deliver campaigns and initiatives that attract new clients.
*Keep up to date with market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.
*Meet and exceed sales targets, providing regular updates to senior management.

Requirements

*Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally in fitness, health, or wellness sectors.
*Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
*Target-driven with a track record of achieving and exceeding goals.
*Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
*Knowledge of the fitness or wellness industry is advantageous.
*Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
