ALN Teacher - Cardiff
Are you a compassionate and dedicated teacher with a passion for supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)? We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic ALN Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive school in Cardiff.
The Role:
As an ALN Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting pupils with a range of additional learning needs, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential. You will work closely with staff, parents, and external agencies to deliver tailored support and interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
*Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet a variety of learning needs
*Develop and implement Individual Development Plans (IDPs)
*Support pupils with a range of ALN, including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties
*Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and the wider school team
*Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting strategies where necessary
*Promote a nurturing, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Experience working with pupils with ALN (highly desirable)
*Strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices
*Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills
*Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
