We are looking for a bright, ambitious and enthusiastic Accounts Assistant, with at least 18 months recent accountancy experience, for a popular private practice in west Cornwall. Ideally you will have a practice background but the client may consider an experienced Accounts Assistant from industry if they are suitably qualified. Start will be Spring 2026.
About you:
*Minimum 18 months’ recent experience as an Accounts Assistant (very preferably in practice)
*Either part of fully-qualified AAT
*Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Workday, or PeopleSoft is highly desirable.
*Strong data entry skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial records
*Familiarity with financial services and accounting principles
*Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively within deadlines.
*Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
