Architectural Technologist
Location: Cambridge
Salary: £32-40,000 DOE
An award-winning chartered architectural practice in Cambridge is seeking a talented Architectural Technologist to join its collaborative team. The Architectural Technologist will work on a diverse portfolio of medium to large scale projects across residential, workplace, retail, leisure, and conservation sectors throughout the South and East of England, making a key contribution to the studio’s technical excellence. This Architectural Technologist role offers the opportunity to be closely involved in project delivery from design through to construction.
Key Responsibilities
*Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction packages
*Assist with planning submissions and technical design documentation
*Develop coordinated drawing packages across multiple RIBA stages
*Liaise with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure technical coordination
*Support project delivery by ensuring compliance with UK Building Regulations and industry standards
*Attend site visits and project meetings as required
Candidate Profile
*Degree or qualification in Architectural Technology or a related discipline
*Experience working in a UK architectural practice
*Strong technical knowledge and understanding of UK Building Regulations
*Experience producing detailed drawing packages across multiple RIBA stages
*Confident communicator with a collaborative and organised approach
*Proficient in Revit and other relevant design software
