Job Description:
Our client in Blyth is a privately owned ambitious and growing design and distribution business with outsourced manufacturing.
The company sells exclusively to the trade in both Europe and the UK via warehouse distrbution. with significant customers including Angling Direct and Go Outdoors along with similar sized
Reporting to the Finance Director the role is central to the next growth phase provides an opportunity to join the company in an exciting phase of its devemopment.
Working closely with the Finance Director you will have responsibility for key financial control, month-end, reconciliations and ERP/system integrity.
At a detailed level this will include the following
Management accounting and month end including prepayments, accruals and journals
Balance sheet reconciliations
Maintenance of audit documentation
Supporting budgeting and forecasting
Supporting ERP and systems development
Oversight of financial controls
UK and EU VAT via third parties
Outsourced payroll (UK and EU)
Transactional Oversight & Team Support
Oversight of AP, AR, expenses and credit control
Liasing internally with commercial, customer service, purchasing, warehouse, supply chain and sales teams
Potential canddiates should possess strong management accounting and core finance operations experience, attitude and ’fit’ will be more important than technical paper qualifications.
Some ERP systems experience would be beneficial, along with being proactive, organised and poised handling multiple priorities.
Salary will be in the £45,000 to £50,000 range plus benefits.
