Supply Chain Coordinator

Job Description:
Portfolio Procurement has been engaged by our leading Hertfordshire based client to recruit for a Supply Chain Coordinator.


Key Job Duties:
*Processing International purchase orders, deliveries, shipments, and invoices for global customers.
*Liaising with customers and suppliers globally and raising orders with factories in the Far East and Europe.
*Liaising with shipping agents to get competitive prices for freight and arranging paperwork for customs clearance.
*Analysing stock holding and customer sales.
*Keeping supply procedures up to date.
*Cover for other members of the Supply Chain team, reporting to the Head of Supply & Operations.
*Other administrative tasks as necessary according to the needs of the business


Skills/experience required:
*Previous experience in a supply chain role is needed, including the understanding of different shipment incoterms
*Understanding of the order, delivery, and invoice processes for a supplier
*Advanced Excel skills
*Excellent multi-tasking skills
*Analytical ability
*Organised and able to maintain accurate records
*Excellent attention to detail
*Strong verbal and written communication skills
*Productive and proactive
