Humanities Teacher (History Specialist) – Permanent Role
Location: Wellingborough
Start Date: September 2026 (Earlier start available)
Salary: £40,000 – £60,000 per annum (Dependent on experience)

Reed Education are working closely with a well-established secondary school in Wellingborough who are seeking a dedicated Humanities Teacher with a strong History specialism. This is a permanent, full-time position starting in September, with the option of an earlier start for an exceptional candidate.
The Role
As a Humanities Teacher, you will:
*Teach History across Key Stages 3 and 4
*Contribute to the wider Humanities curriculum (Geography/RE as required)
*Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons
*Support pupil progress through effective assessment and feedback
*Play an active role in the school community and departmental development
Requirements
The school is looking for someone who has:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*Strong subject knowledge and a clear passion for History
*Experience teaching History within a secondary school setting
*Excellent classroom management and communication skills
*A proactive, professional and collaborative approach
