Job Description:
Finance Assistant - Loughton - 1 year FTC - 4 or 5 days per week, between £30k - £40k per annum DOE
*£30k - £40k DOE
*23 days annual leave plus bank
*Loughton
*4 - 5 days per week, hybrid, 1 day from home
*Focus on payroll and credit control
We’re looking for a detail oriented Finance Assistant to support a fast paced, sociable, sales environment with their Accounts.
This is a 1 year fixed term contract, covering maternity leave, a key role supporting weekly financial operations, payroll, and invoicing.
What You’ll Be Doing:
*Managing timesheets and payroll for contractors/ temps both umbrella and PAYE
*Issuing weekly invoices and maintaining accurate financial records
*Performing bank reconciliations and managing payment allocations
*Supporting credit control and chasing outstanding payments
*Handling month-end processes and reporting
What We’re Looking For:
*Experience with Xero ideally
*Background in recruitment, construction, contracting etc.
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
*Confident communicator with a proactive approach
