HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 HIAB Driver to join our well-established client based in Rugby, Warwickshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.
To be considered for this role you MUST have a valid grab HIAB licence.
Shifts:
Monday – Friday: 7am – 4pm
Rates of Pay:
£19.50 per hour

Day to Day Duties:
Your duties as a HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver will involve but not be limited to:
* Delivering most building materials to construction sites
* Operate and drive various Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
* Operating a HIAB/lorry-mounted crane safely and efficiently
* Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
* Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
* Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
* Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
* Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
* Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed
Essential Skills
As a HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver you:
* Must be able to work as a team
* Must hold a valid grab HIAB licence
* No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
* Must be able to use PDA (personal digital assistant)
* Hold a valid UK Category C Licence
* Hold a valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card
* Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
* Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
* Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
* Effective communication skills
Desirable Experience:
* Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial but not essential
* Previous experience in multi drop experience will be beneficial but not essential
Training:
*Industry related training and ongoing support throughout will be provided.
