Time Appointments are excited to be working with a huge, well-established Construction firm based in Ipswich who are looking for an experienced Design Manager to join their pre-construction team. You will work closely with and report to their experiences Pre-Construction Manager.


Key Duties:
*Manage the design process during the tender stage.
*Understand design briefs.
*Chair design development meetings during the tender process.
*Ensure designers appointments are completed in accordance with procedures.
*Attend risk meetings.
*Produce and monitor a design procurement schedule.
*Manage the progress of design issues within a strict timescale and ensure designers meet information delivery dates.


Previous Skills & Experience:
*A background within design (architectural or engineering) and/or construction project management is essential.
*Knowledge of construction techniques and design standards.
*Self-motivated.
*Able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
*Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
*Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
