Job Title: Lettings Consultant
Location: Brentwood
Salary: £22,000 - £24,000 basic (OTE £25,000+)
About the Role
Our client is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Candidate to join their successful and fast-paced team. This role is ideal for someone with strong people skills, a professional approach, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
You will play a key role in supporting tenants and landlords throughout the lettings process, ensuring a smooth and positive experience from enquiry through to move-in.
Key Responsibilities
*Liaise with prospective tenants to understand their needs and requirements
*Match applicants with suitable rental properties
*Conduct property viewings and provide a high level of customer service
*Build and maintain relationships with landlords and tenants
*Negotiate rental terms between all parties
*Carry out property inspections to ensure standards are maintained
*Maintain accurate records using internal systems
*Provide professional communication via phone, email, and face-to-face
Candidate Requirements
Essential
*Experience in an office-based or professional environment
*Strong customer-facing experience (in person and over the phone)
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Professional, confident, and well-presented
*Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
*IT literate (MS Office and able to pick up new systems quickly)
*Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
Desirable
*Previous experience within lettings, estate agency, or property
*Background in sales, customer service, or call centre environments
*Experience working in a target-driven environment
