Job Description:
Are you a compassionate, patient and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next rewarding role? I am currently working with a warm, welcoming and high-achieving Primary school in the Harborne area who are seeking a 1:1 SEN TA to work with a child in Year 4 with Autism.

Your new role
You will be working 1:1 with a child in Year 4 with Autism, supporting them throughout the school day.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Providing tailored support to help the child access learning
*Implementing strategies recommended by the SENCO and external professionals
*Supporting regulation, communication and social interaction
*Adapting activities to suit individual needs
*Working closely with the class teacher and wider staff team
*Contributing to EHCP targets and progress reviews
This role requires consistency, empathy, resilience and a warm, child-centred approach.
What you’ll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you should have:
*A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
*Experience supporting children with Autism or other additional needs
*A calm, nurturing and proactive approach
*Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
*The ability to work effectively as part of a supportive team
*Good understanding of safeguarding and SEND best practice
