Are you passionate about baking and creating nutritious food that fuels young minds?
One of our welcoming secondary schools in Taunton is looking for a dedicated School Baker to join their catering team.
What You’ll Be Doing*Preparing fresh bread, cakes, pastries, and baked items daily for students and staff
*Following set menus and nutritional guidelines
*Ensuring high standards of food hygiene and safety at all times
*Supporting the wider kitchen team during busy service periods
*Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
*Managing stock levels and reporting shortages
What We’re Looking For*Previous experience in baking or catering (school experience beneficial but not essential)
*Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
*A positive, reliable and proactive attitude
*Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
*Enhanced Child Workforce DBS (or willingness to apply)
