Sales Assistant- Halifax (HX2 0DB) - Managed Services

As an SalesAssistant based in Halifax you will be responsible for:
* Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations providing a prompt and efficient service while building strong relationships
* Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude
* Deal with suppliers over the telephone
* Carrying out general warehouse tasks, including booking in stock, putting stock away into designated locations and maintaining high standards within the warehouse
* Picking and packing customer orders with accuracy and efficiency (This will involve heavy lifting)
This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7.30am - 4.30pm. No weekend work required.
And heres what wed like you to have:
* Prior experience working in plumbing, building, electrical industry would be advantageous
* Previous warehouse experience
* A counterbalance forklift license
* Willingness to learn with an enthusiastic approach
* A dependable, hardworking team player whos open to learning
