KCR Solutions are supporting our client in recruiting an ambitious Part Qual Accountant to join their small and collaborative finance team. This role is ideal for someone studying AAT / ACCA / CIMA, but candidates who are qualified by experience are also encouraged to apply.
Working closely with the Finance Director, you will help deliver accurate month-end reporting while also providing cover for transactional finance duties when required. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone positive, engaging, and eager to learn and progress.
THE ROLE
*Support month-end production including journals, accruals, prepayments, reconciliations, and preparation of management information.
*Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
*Provide cover for transactional duties across purchase ledger, sales ledger, bank reconciliations, and general financial administration as needed.
*Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal processes and controls.
*Support audit preparation and help meet all internal and external reporting deadlines.
*Work alongside the Finance Director on ad hoc analysis, projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
THE PERSON
*Studying AAT / ACCA / CIMA or qualified by experience.
*Experience in a finance role with some exposure to month-end processes.
*Strong accuracy, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
*Confident with Excel and comfortable learning new systems.
*Positive, proactive approach with a desire to develop professionally.


Salary up to £42,000, depending on experience.
