Regulatory Change Specialist
Location: Manchester
Contract: Permanent
Work Setup: Hybrid - 3 days in the office

The Role
Our client is a global services provider that assists clients in managing resources and planning for future goals through structured approaches and adaptable strategies.
What you’ll do
*Coordinate and assess the impact of regulatory changes across the firm, supporting enterprise and product/service-level initiatives.
*Partner with compliance advisory teams and the Regulatory Programme Office to define scope, timing, and resource requirements for regulatory projects.
*Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including sponsors, workstream leads, and subject matter experts.
*Lead regulatory horizon scanning, initial impact analysis, and implementation of AI-enabled regulatory intelligence tools.
*Deliver briefings, training, and guidance to business functions and Boards, ensuring awareness and alignment.
*Represent the Office of the General Counsel on project committees and maintain expertise in regulatory, policy, and industry developments.
What you bring
*Substantial experience in a Regulatory Change or Compliance role within financial services or asset management.
*Proven track record managing regulatory change and staying current with UK and EU regulations.
*Knowledge of UCITS, AIFMD, MiFID, and/or Consumer Duty requirements.
*Ability to interpret, communicate, and implement regulatory developments effectively.
*Experience with horizon scanning or building regulatory horizon scanning tools is desirable.
*Strong project management skills with the ability to engage stakeholders and train colleagues.
