The Role… Learning Disability School Support Staff
This is a fulfilling and hands-on role within a specialist school for pupils with learning disabilities. Every day will bring something different, as you support students with their learning, communication, and personal development.
You will work closely with teaching staff to provide both academic and pastoral support, helping pupils to build confidence, develop independence, and stay engaged in their education. The role may also involve assisting with personal care and daily routines to ensure pupils feel safe and supported throughout the day.
You’ll Be…
* Experienced in supporting children or young people with learning disabilities or additional needs
* Comfortable assisting with personal care and supporting physical needs where required
* Kind, patient, and able to build strong, trusting relationships
* Flexible, proactive, and willing to get fully involved in school life
