General Administrative Assistant

We’re looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented General Administrative Assistant to support our day-to-day office operations.
This is a varied and fast-paced role, ideal for someone who is proactive, efficient, and enjoys working across multiple departments. You’ll play a key role in keeping the business running smoothly by providing essential administrative support to our Sales, Projects, and Maintenance teams.
Key Responsibilities:*Providing general administrative and clerical support across all departments
*Preparing and generating quotes from reports (small works)
*Handling incoming calls, emails, and correspondence
*Maintaining accurate and organised electronic filing systems
*Scheduling engineer visits and coordinating diaries
*Managing data entry and ensuring records are up to date
*Raising purchase orders and ordering parts
*Assisting with travel arrangements and hotel bookings
*Supporting the wider team with additional administrative tasks as required
What we’re looking for:*Previous experience in an administrative or office support role
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
*Strong written and verbal communication skills
*Excellent organisational and time management abilities
*High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
*Ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively
*Professional, positive attitude with a customer-focused approach
Desirable (but not essential):*Experience using Construction Manager software
*Basic bookkeeping knowledge
*Familiarity with office equipment such as printers and copiers
