This is an exciting, VC backed and innovative health and IT organisation based in central London. They have developed an intuitive device and platform, supporting healthcare professionals with treatments being carried out in the community. This results in care being more accessible faster.
Due to continued growth, this healthtech business are now looking to hire a talented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their finance department.
Role
Reporting into the Financial Controller, the Accounts Receivable Specialist assist in day-to-day operations as well as managing the AR processes for the business. They will take on a number of key duties including:
*Manage Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, billing adjustments, credit notes and customer queries.
*Oversee credit control, monitoring debtor balances, chasing payments and agreeing payment plans.
*Ensure accurate cash allocation and maintenance of the sales ledger.
*Prepare and deliver regular reporting on debtor positions, ageing and cash collection performance.
*Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and customers to resolve queries efficiently.
*Support month-end and year-end processes, including journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
*Assist with external reporting, including statutory accounts, VAT returns and other filings.
*Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls and efficiency within the finance function.
*Contribute to ad hoc projects and wider finance team activities.
Profile
The ideal profile for this Accounts Receivable Specialist position, should have the following:
*2+ years of experience within a similar Accounts Receivable and Credit Control capacity
*Part-qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent
*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
*Strong proficiency with Excel and associated formulas
*High level of numerical analytical aptitude
*IT literate and able to collaborate within a fast-paced start-up environment
*Experience with Xero would be advantageous

£40,000 to £45,000 plus benefits:
