Salary: £44,000 per annum
Are you a Deputy Manager ready to take the next step into a Registered Manager role? BRB Recruit are supporting an established children’s home in Shrewsbury looking for a motivated and capable leader to step up and take ownership of the home.
This is the perfect opportunity for someone with leadership experience who wants to progress and lead a strong, supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:*Lead and manage the home, ensuring high-quality care for children
*Support, guide, and develop staff to deliver outstanding outcomes
*Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding requirements
*Oversee operational systems, care planning, and reporting
*Build and maintain relationships with local authorities and external partners
*Drive continuous improvement and monitor children’s progress
Requirements:*Deputy Manager or equivalent experience, ready to step up
*Strong understanding of safeguarding and Ofsted regulations
*Level 3 or above in relevant care/childcare qualification
*Full UK driving licence (desirable)
*Confident, hands-on, and able to lead a home effectively
