Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable, proactive, and experienced Live-in Housekeeper to manage the day-to-day upkeep of a private residence in London. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, discreet, and capable of independently maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organization, while also supporting basic household needs including cooking and pet care.
Key Responsibilities - Housekeeping & Cleaning
*Maintain overall cleanliness and hygiene of the apartment to a high standard
*Daily cleaning (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing surfaces)
*Laundry and ironing, including care for delicate fabrics
*Bed making and linen changes
*Wardrobe organization and upkeep
Household Management
*Ensure the home is consistently well-presented and organized
*Manage household supplies and groceries (stock monitoring and replenishment)
*Coordinate with external vendors (if required)
Cooking (Basic Mandatory)
*Prepare simple, healthy meals on a daily basis (Indian/ Nepalese)
*Follow dietary preferences and maintain kitchen cleanliness
*Assist with meal planning if needed
Pet Care
*Daily pet walking and basic care (feeding, grooming awareness)
*Ensure pet areas are clean and maintained
Candidate Requirements
*Proven experience working in a private residence (essential)
*Prior experience in a live-in housekeeping role preferred
*Strong understanding of housekeeping standards and hygiene practices
*Basic cooking skills (mandatory)
*Comfortable with pets
*Trustworthy, discreet, and respectful of privacy
*Good communication skills (English required)
*Physically fit and able to handle household tasks
