Job Title: School Catering Assistant (Part-Time)
Location: Manchester
Working Hours: Between 10:00am – 2:30pm (Monday to Friday)
Contract Type: Part-Time
We are currently looking for enthusiastic and reliable Catering Assistants to join our team at a welcoming local school. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment and supporting the preparation and service of healthy meals for children.
Key Responsibilities:
*Assisting with the preparation and serving of meals
*Setting up and clearing down the dining area
*Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
*Washing dishes and kitchen equipment
*Supporting the kitchen team as required
What We’re Looking For:
*A positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
*Good communication and interpersonal skills
*Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
*Awareness of food hygiene standards (training can be provided)
*Previous catering or kitchen experience is desirable but not essential
