Full-Time Year 2 Teaching Assistant - Rochdale, Heywood (OL10)
April2026 - July 2026 | Monday to Friday | 8:30am - 3:30pm
Aspire People, an education specialist agency, is currently recruiting for a General Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Rochdale, Heywood (OL10).
Role Details:
* Position: Year 2 Teaching Assistant
* Type: Full-Time, Term-Time
* Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
* Start Date: September 2025
* End Date: July 2026 (with potential for a permanent school contract)
* Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide general classroom support to the class teacher and pupils
* Assist with delivering engaging lessons and activities
* Promote a positive learning environment
* Support the whole class - no 1:1 or SEN support required
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a general Teaching Assistant (KS1 experience preferred)
* Strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
* Reliable, proactive, and passionate about supporting children’s learning
