Employment Solicitor
*Annual Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 (Pro Rata)
*Location: Farnham (Hybrid working available)
*Job Type: Part-time (Open to Discussions about what this can & will look like)
Join a highly respected and long-established regional practice in Surrey, known for its outstanding client care and modern working culture. We are looking for an Employment Solicitor with 1–5+ years PQE to join our expanding team. This role offers a varied caseload involving both contentious and non-contentious matters, and offer flexibility with part time hours which can be discussed on individual needs
Day-to-day of the role:
*Advise on a full range of employment matters including tribunal claims, contracts, redundancy, disciplinary issues, settlement agreements, and restructures.
*Handle a strong mix of respondent and claimant work.
*Draft, review, and negotiate employment documentation.
*Provide corporate support on employment aspects of business sales/purchases.
*Actively contribute to the department’s growth through business development, networking, and maintaining excellent client relationships.
*Collaborate closely with colleagues across commercial, litigation, and corporate teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales, ideally with 1–5+ years PQE in Employment Law.
*Confident in managing your own caseload with appropriate support.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
*Ability to balance technical excellence with commercial awareness.
*Motivated by career progression and contributing to a developing department.
