Job Description:
Primary Teacher - Mixed Year 5/ Year 6 Class - Stafford - Short / Long Term - Start Date: As soon as possible!
We are recruiting for a qualified, experienced and confident Key Stage 2 primary teacher to join a lovely Mixed Year 5 / Year 6 class in Stafford You will be expected to get stuck straight into the classroom and must be a confident primary teacher who is willing to get stuck straight in!
This opportunity is ideal for a primary teacher who still wants to remain in the classroom but working through a supply agency. You will be working within a mixed Year 5 / Year 6 class and must be confident in delivering the National Curriculum to a high standard across a mixed year group. You may be expected to take on some planning responsibilities due to the post being a short term - long term cover. Behaviour management will play a key role in creating a pleasant classroom environment; the children will benefit from a teacher who has strong levels of behaviour management. You must maintain a positive learning environment for all pupils within your classroom, with the ability to adapt activities and learning to suit each and every child.
The role includes:
*Working for a reputable education agency - Academics Ltd.
*Must be confident in teaching a Year 5 / Year 6 class.
*Confident in delivering lessons to a very high standard.
*Managing classroom behaviour effectively and quickly; raising positive and high behaviour standards.
*The ability to quickly jump into a school environment and adapt to school life.
We are looking for someone who:
*Qualified Teaching Status (QTS). This role is suitable for ECT’s.
*A strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and how to deliver lessons in a way which ignites pupils want to learn.
*Enhanced DBS.
*Provide 2 teaching references.
*Available to start ASAP.
*Confident to teach pre-planned lessons.
*Fully registered to work with Academics.
Pay: £140 - £159 a day (dependent upon experience). Holiday pay is included on day rate.
