Grafton Banks Finance is supporting a Brighton based client in recruiting a dedicated Legal Finance Assistant for an exciting short-term opportunity. This role offers a chance to work within a supportive organization, gaining valuable experience in the legal sector while applying your finance skills. This in office role involves supporting a variety of finance duties over a 2-3 month interim period, working 24 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
*Performing weekly reconciliations
*Monitoring billing and following up on outstanding debts
*Liaising with the finance team to review payments received and allocations
*Reviewing and monitoring client accounts
*Managing the billing cycle, including drafting invoices and processing disbursements
Candidate Requirements:
*Available to start immediately or on short notice for a temporary contract
*Prior experience in legal services, preferably in billing or as a Legal cashier
*Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs, pivot tables, and formulas
*Full-time in-office availability, with no hybrid working
