Role Description
I’m working with a very modern and forward-thinking accountancy practice based in brand new offices in Brentwood, just a short walk from the train station.


They are looking to appoint an Accounts Semi Senior to join their growing team, working across a varied portfolio of clients. The role is predominantly accounts-focused, with the opportunity to get involved in audit work (up to 30%) if desired, though this is not essential.

What you’ll do
*Prepare year-end accounts for a range of clients
*Assist with VAT returns and general compliance work
*Manage your own portfolio of clients
*Communicate with clients and handle queries
*Opportunity to get involved in audit work (if desired)
*Support senior staff and contribute to team delivery


What you’ll need
*Previous experience within a UK accountancy practice
*Currently studying or planning to study ACA / ACCA
*Experience with accounts preparation and VAT
*Good communication and organisational skills
*A proactive and team-oriented approach
