Exams Officer (Temporary) - Secondary School (GCSE Exam Period)
Location: Bolton
Daily Rate: £145 - £160 per day

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Exams Officer to support a secondary school during the crucial lead-up to the GCSE examination period. This is a temporary position requiring a confident and highly organised professional who can step in and manage the examinations process with minimal supervision.
This is a fast-paced and detail-driven role, ideal for someone who has previously held responsibility for coordinating exams within a UK secondary school setting and understands the regulations, deadlines, and procedures set by awarding bodies.
Key Responsibilities:*Overseeing the planning, organisation, and smooth delivery of GCSE examinations
*Liaising with awarding bodies to ensure all requirements and deadlines are met
*Managing exam entries, amendments, and candidate data
*Coordinating invigilators, including scheduling and briefing
*Ensuring compliance with JCQ regulations at all times
*Handling exam materials securely before, during, and after exams
*Supporting students and staff with exam-related queries
Essential Requirements:*Proven experience working as an Exams Officer within a UK secondary school (essential - applications without this will not be considered)
*Strong knowledge of JCQ regulations and exam board procedures
*Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
*Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
*Confident communication and administrative skills
