Cover Supervisor – Grammar School (Medway)

Contract: Until the end of term
Pay Rate: £120 per day
The Role
We are seeking a confident, adaptable, and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join a well-established Grammar School in the Medway area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on classroom experience in a high-performing school environment.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons across a variety of subjects, ensuring students remain engaged and on task. No planning or marking is required.
Key Responsibilities
*Supervising classes during teacher absences
*Managing behaviour in line with school policies
*Delivering set work and ensuring students stay focused
*Providing support and guidance where needed
*Building positive relationships with students and staff
Requirements
*Previous school-based experience is desirable, but not essential
*Confidence managing a classroom
*Excellent communication skills
*A positive, proactive approach
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
