Customer Account Manager
*Salary: £38,000 - £42,000
*Location: Cambridge
*Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (37.5 hours per week, office based Monday to Friday)
Our client is seeking a Customer Account Manager to enhance their Sales team by managing customer relationships and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Manage day-to-day relationships with customers and partners within your assigned regions.
*Serve as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries, ensuring timely and professional communication.
*Support the onboarding of new partners and facilitate their integration.
*Collaborate closely with internal teams to resolve operational issues and ensure a smooth customer experience.
*Monitor customer orders and maintain accurate and deliverable order backlogs.
*Assist customers with queries related to shipments, returns, and general account activity.
*Ensure compliance with agreed contracts, pricing, and stocking profiles.
*Contribute to internal projects and initiatives aimed at improving processes and enhancing the customer experience.
*Support the planning and delivery of partner events and other engagement activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Strong customer relationship and stakeholder management skills.
*Proven experience in order management, customer operations, or account support.
*Commercial awareness with a focus on revenue support and customer satisfaction.
*Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in solving problems.
*Comfortable managing multiple customers and priorities across a region.
