Job Description:
Teaching Assistant
*Daily Rate: £90 - £110
*Location: Croydon
*Job Type: Full-time
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who has a passion for education and previous experience working with children. The successful candidate will support classroom activities and contribute to creating a nurturing and effective learning environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Assist the lead teacher in planning and executing educational activities.
*Support students with their educational and social development, both in and out of the classroom.
*Work closely with teachers to tailor instruction to meet the needs of all students.
*Help prepare materials for lessons and activities, and set up equipment as needed for classes.
*Monitor students’ progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents as required.
*Assist with the supervision of students during non-classroom times, including activities and field trips.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Previous experience working with children in an educational setting.
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
*Patience, understanding, and the ability to manage groups of students.
*A proactive and collaborative approach to working with teachers and staff.
*Enhanced DBS check (or willing to undergo this process).
