BI Developer
Birmingham (hybrid)
£40,000 to £50,000 per annum

I am currently seeking a BI Developer to play a pivotal role in shaping my clients BI capability during an exciting period of growth. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve designing visually engaging dashboards using Power BI, building comprehensive reports that empower stakeholders with actionable information, and creating semantic models that streamline data analysis.
BI Developer - What will you be doing?
* Designing and developing high-quality Power BI dashboards and reports.
* Creating semantic models that enable efficient data analysis and support business decision-making processes.
* Collaborating closely with colleagues from various departments to understand their data needs and translate requirements into effective BI solutions.
* Utilising DAX to develop complex calculations and measures within Power BI reports.
* Writing SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into the BI platform.
* Implementing ETL processes to ensure seamless integration of data from disparate systems into centralised repositories.
BI Developer - What will you need?
* Demonstrated experience in designing high-quality dashboards Power BI.
* DAX for developing advanced calculations within Power BI reports.
* Advanced SQL capabilities.
* Hands-on experience with ETL techniques.
* Excellent interpersonal skills for collaborating with colleagues from different departments to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
* Enthusiasm for learning new technologies such as Fabric.
