Hays are working exclusively with a leading organisation seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join their finance team on an interim basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident, proactive credit professional who can quickly add value and support the business through a busy period.

Your new role
As the Interim Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of customer accounts and ensuring timely payment of outstanding invoices.
Key duties include:
*Proactive collection of overdue debt via phone and email
*Managing and resolving customer queries efficiently
*Allocating payments and reconciling accounts
*Monitoring aged debt and preparing reports for management
*Supporting month-end activities within the credit control function
*Building strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
What you’ll need to succeed
*Previous experience in credit control or accounts receivable
*Strong communication and negotiation skills
*Ability to work independently and hit the ground running
*Excellent attention to detail and time-management
*Experience with finance/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Sage) is desirable
