The Role
As a Drilling Labourer, you’ll work as part of a skilled drilling crew supporting the safe and efficient delivery of water borehole projects across domestic, agricultural, commercial and infrastructure sites. This is a physically demanding position involving site mobilisation, drilling operations, borehole construction, and general labouring duties.

Key Responsibilities
*Assisting with the set-up and operation of drilling rigs and associated equipment
*Handling drill rods, casing, pumps, tooling, and consumables
*Supporting borehole construction, including casing installation, gravel packing and grouting
*Working with drilling fluids, water handling and containment
*Loading/unloading vehicles and managing materials safely
*Maintaining high standards of site housekeeping
*Following RAMS, company safety procedures and industry best practice
*Assisting with routine maintenance and cleaning of drilling rigs
*Representing the company professionally on client sites
What We’re Looking For
Essential
*Previous experience in construction, civil engineering, utilities, groundworks, or similar outdoor labour roles
*Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
*Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
*Flexibility for early starts, travel and regular overnight stays
*Strong understanding of health & safety
*Full UK driving licence (required)
Desirable
*Experience in water borehole or geothermal drilling
*CSCS Card
*CPCS / NPORS plant tickets
*First Aid at Work certificate
