Software Engineer (Java, Spring boot, Microservices)
Location - Fully Remote
Permanent - Full time
Salary - £55,000 - £60,000
Our client, a people powered digital transformation company are hiring for a senior software engineer responsible for the designing & developing high quality software solutions.
This is an opportunity to work with cutting edge technology…and fully remote!
Working on complex software projects that will contribute to the architecture further development & improvements of software systems.
Excellent benefits package, including 30 days holiday plus bank holidays, 2 volunteer days, employer pension contribution, access to an equity and share scheme & personal development budget.
Responsibilities: -
*Design, develop & maintain complex software solutions to ensure they are robust, secure, tested & scalable.
*Mentor, support, develop and promote the skills and best practices of junior engineers.
*Conduct code reviews, providing feedback to the team that will enhance performance and quality.
*Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to ensure the software runs smoothly and efficiently.
*Engage in early-stage project discussions, providing tech insights and recommendations.
*Contribute to software architecture decisions, to ensure alignment with business & project goals.
Essential skills and experience required: -
*Proven experience in full stack development software, including design, development, testing & deployment.
*Hands on experience with Java, Spring boot & Microservices.
*Experience with AWS / JavaScript / React
