Semi-Senior Accountant – Accountancy Practice
Salary- £30,000 – £40,000
Location- Southeast London
Full-Time | Permanent


Reed Croydon is supporting a growing, forward-thinking accountancy practice in Southeast London, now looking for a motivated Part-Qualified Semi-Senior Accountant with strong practice experience. This role offers excellent progression, varied client exposure, and full study support for ACA or ACCA.

Key Responsibilities:
*Preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies, LLPs, and sole traders
*Preparation of corporation tax computations and CT600s
*Assisting with personal tax returns and partnership tax returns
*Managing client queries and maintaining strong client relationships
*Preparing/assisting with management accounts
*Supporting MTD for ITSA digital record-keeping and quarterly submissions
*Helping with VAT returns, CIS, and general bookkeeping
*Ensuring work is completed on time and to practice standards
*Assisting on advisory work and practice-wide projects


What the Practice Is Looking For:
*ACA / ACCA part-qualified, or qualified by experience
*Must have previous UK practice experience- minimum 2 years
*Confident preparing accounts with minimal supervision
*Good understanding of Corporation Tax and VAT principles
*Comfortable working in a client-facing capacity
*Strong organisational skills and ability to work across multiple deadlines
*Experience with Xero and QuickBooks essential
*IRIS Accounts Production experience highly desirable
