Description
*Full commercial leadership of a major responsive social housing contract
*Oversight of multiple workstreams, including kitchens, bathrooms, roofing, and heating
*Leading, managing, and developing the divisional commercial team
*Cost control, valuations, applications for payment, and final accounts
*Accurate financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting
*Close collaboration with operational teams to support performance and margin delivery
*Subcontractor procurement, payments, and commercial compliance oversight
*Identification and mitigation of commercial risks and opportunities
*Ensuring contract adherence and best-practice commercial governance
Profile
A successful Divisional Commercial Manager should have:
*Proven experience as a Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor within responsive social housing
*Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams in a high-volume environment
*Strong track record in leading and developing commercial teams
*Comprehensive understanding of social housing contracts and commercial frameworks
*High level of commercial and financial acumen with strong analytical skills
*Effective stakeholder management across clients, internal teams, and supply chain partners
