Roles type: We offer both long term and day to day supply.
Start Date: ASAP or After Easter.
Requirements:
*Solid experience working with children or young people in settings such as schools, youth clubs, or SEN care.
*Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with teenagers and staff.
*A calm, patient approach when handling challenging situations or complex needs.
*An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one).
Key Duties:
*Provide 1:1 and small group intervention support for pupils across KS3 and KS4.
*Assist the class teacher in the delivery of subject-specific lesson plans.
*Implement effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a focused learning environment.
*Adapt learning materials to suit students with diverse educational needs and EHC plans.
*Support the social, emotional, and academic development of secondary-aged students.
*Liaise with the teaching staff to monitor and report on student progress.
*Supervise students during non-classroom intervals and school outings.
