Higher-Level Teaching Assistant

Pay: £100–£110 per day
Contract: Full-time, from after Easter until end of the academic year
Location: Doncaster
Are you an experienced and confident Higher-Level Teaching Assistant looking for your next rewarding role? Reed Education are working with a welcoming primary school in Doncaster who are seeking a skilled HLTA to join their team after Easter.
About the RoleAs the school’s HLTA, you will play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning across the whole school. Your responsibilities will include:
*Delivering high-quality PPA cover and management time cover across year groups
*Working flexibly across KS1 and KS2
*Leading learning, managing behaviour, and ensuring smooth continuation of lessons
*Supporting small group interventions where required
*Using your knowledge of phonics (Little Wandle preferred) to support early reading development
RequirementsTo be successful, you will need:
*Previous experience as an HLTA or strong experience as a higher-level TA
*Confidence delivering lessons across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
*Good understanding of Little Wandle or similar phonics programmes
*Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills
*Availability full-time from after Easter until July
