Job Description:
We have exciting customer service opportunities at Exeter St Davids Train Station.
Due to essential lift replacement works, the station lifts will be out of service for a minimum of 4 weeks. During this time, we are looking for friendly, proactive individuals to assist passengers with their journeys.
Key Responsibilities*Provide excellent customer service to all passengers.
*Assist customers with luggage and mobility needs.
*Help passengers safely navigate stairs to access all platforms.
*Offer guidance and support to ensure a smooth travel experience.
Requirements*Physically fit and able to carry luggage up and down stairs.
*Positive, approachable attitude with a focus on customer care.
*Ability to work as part of a team in a busy station environment.
Training & Support*Ramp training provided at the station to assist passengers with reduced mobility.
*Online training modules to complete before starting.
*All training is fully paid.
Pay rate: £12.60 per hour - if this role continues for longer than 12 weeks your pay will increase to £14.86 - we also have shift working at Exeter Central whilst the chiefs play at home (Rugby) this is on-going to support with crowd control
Shifts: 08:00-16:00 and 15:00-23:00.
Contract: 4weeks asap - 3-5 days per week across the 7 day period.

*Be safety conscious - able to spot and anticipate risk.
Please note a zero-alcohol tolerance is to be adhered to working on the railway and candidates cannot turn up under the influence of alcohol. 18 years above only.
