Tradewind Recruitment is currently working in partnership with a secondary school in Huyton to recruit experienced Cover Supervisors for a full and part-time roles.
This role is ideal for a confident and resilient professional with strong behaviour management skills and proven experience working within a secondary school environment.
The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of teaching staff, maintaining a positive learning environment and ensuring high standards of behaviour and engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
*Supervising classes across KS3 and KS4 using pre-set work
*Managing classroom behaviour effectively and consistently
*Ensuring students remain on task and engaged in learning
*Following school behaviour policies and reporting incidents accurately
*Providing feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour
*Supporting the wider school team as required
The Ideal Candidate
*Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or working in a secondary school (essential)
*Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to maintain control of the classroom
*Confident, calm and professional approach
*Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
*Reliable, flexible and committed to full-time work
