REED/LTA are seeking an experienced Nursery Teacher to join a rural primary school in Preston. This full-time position starts at the beginning of May and continues until the end of the summer term. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a small team of teaching assistants and delivering high-quality early years education. The pay will range from £168.80 to £215.68 depending on experience. Day-to-day of the role:
*Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and educational activities suitable for nursery-aged children.
*Lead and manage a team of teaching assistants, ensuring effective support and development within the classroom.
*Monitor and assess children’s progress, maintaining accurate records and providing feedback to parents and guardians.
*Create a safe, nurturing environment that stimulates learning and development.
*Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance the overall educational experience.
*Participate in school events and activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience as a Nursery Teacher.
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS).
*Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team.
*Excellent understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
*Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
