SATS Intervention Specialist – DoncasterStart Date: After Easter
Pay: £100 per day
Are you passionate about helping pupils reach their full potential? We are seeking an experienced SATS Intervention Specialist to support Year 6 students in Doncaster who are currently not working at age-related expectations in Literacy and Numeracy.
About the RoleYou will work directly with Year 6 pupils, delivering targeted intervention sessions designed to accelerate progress ahead of SATS. Support will be delivered through small-group work and 1:1 sessions, adapting strategies to meet a range of learning needs.
Key Responsibilities*Deliver focused Literacy and Numeracy interventions for Year 6 pupils.
*Use assessment information to plan tailored support and track progress.
*Work collaboratively with class teachers and senior leaders to ensure effective provision.
*Support pupils with a range of SEN and additional needs, ensuring accessible learning.
*Help prepare pupils confidently and effectively for SATS assessments.
Requirements*Experience supporting Year 6 pupils, particularly those working below age-related expectations.
*Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and SATS preparation.
*Good knowledge of SEN and strategies to support diverse learning needs.
*Ability to motivate, engage, and build positive relationships with pupils.
*Availability to start after Easter in Doncaster.
