Private Client Solicitor

We are seeking an experienced and personable Private Client Solicitor with 4+ years PQE to join the established Wills & Probate team of a local law firm. This role offers the opportunity to handle a varied caseload and contribute to the growth of our highly reputable firm, which has strong ties to the local community and a steady flow of quality work.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Managing a broad caseload including Wills (simple and complex), Probate and estate administration and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
*Drafting a full range of private client documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.
*Providing empathetic, attentive, and pragmatic advice to clients.
*Building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
*Supporting business development activities, including networking, seminars, and community partnerships.
*Contributing to the growth of the department through cross-referrals and relationship management with referrers.
*Ensuring all work complies with SRA regulations, AML checks, and internal risk management protocols.
*Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*4+ years PQE within a reputable Private Client department.
*Strong experience in Wills, Probate and LPAs.
*STEP qualification or working towards STEP (highly desirable).
*Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
*High level of empathy and professionalism when working with clients.
*Strong communication and drafting skills.
*Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team player.
