SEN Teaching AssistantLocation: Newcastle Upon Tyne and surrounding areas
Role Type: Flexible - Full-time, Part-time and permanent SEN Teaching Assistant Jobs available
Age Range: Key Stage 1 (KS1) - Key Stage 5 (KS5)
Start Date: ASAP & from January 2026
Rate of Pay: £90 to £120 per day

What You’ll Need:*Experience supporting children with SEND, particularly ASC, SEMH, or complex learning needs, is preferred but not essential
*A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
*Ability to work 1:1 or in small groups to support learning, behaviour, and emotional regulation
*Previous experience in a school setting is advantageous but not essential
*Early Career Teachers / Newly Qualified Teachers are welcome to apply
Your Responsibilities May Include:*Supporting pupils with SEN in class or in small group interventions
*Assisting pupils with tasks according to their EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans)
*Supporting literacy, numeracy, and other curriculum-based learning
