Description
*Manage and maintain a portfolio of clients, ensuring a high level of service
*Monitor job progress against timelines and billing targets
*Track and manage key deadlines to ensure timely delivery of work
*Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies
*Complete self-assessment tax returns accurately and efficiently
*Prepare corporation tax computations and submit returns
*Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients and colleagues
*Ensure full compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards
*Utilise accounting software such as IRIS, Sage, Dext, and Xero effectively
*Deliver work to a consistently high standard within agreed deadlines
*Respond to client queries promptly and professionally
*Support and mentor colleagues and trainees, providing technical guidance where needed
*Carry out additional duties as required, in line with the responsibilities of the role
Profile
A successful Tax Specialist should have:
*A strong background in tax within the professional services industry.
*Relevant qualifications in tax or accountancy. AAT, ACA, CTA
*Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
*Strong communication and confidence in providing advice and recommendations to clients.
*Attention to detail and accuracy in tax compliance work.
*A proactive approach to identifying and addressing client needs.
