About the Company
Our client, a well-established and growing engineering manufacturer based in Rainham, is looking to expand their production team with a dedicated CNC Operator. This is a fantastic permanent opportunity for someone who has an understanding of CNC machining and is looking to develop their skills within a supportive, forward-thinking company.
The Role
As a CNC Operator, you will play a key role in ensuring high-quality production across a range of machined components. You will work closely with the engineering and production teams to run CNC machines efficiently and maintain a smooth workflow.
Key Responsibilities
*Operate CNC machines safely and efficiently during day-shift hours
*Work from engineering drawings and job specifications
*Carry out basic machine adjustments and tool changes
*Perform quality checks to ensure components meet required standards
*Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
*Report any issues or defects to the production supervisor
*Support continuous improvement and production efficiency initiatives
About You
*Understanding of CNC machining (milling, turning, or both)
*Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
*Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
*Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team
*Previous CNC experience is beneficial but not essential — training can be provided for the right candidate
