Graduate Teaching Assistant - Secondary School - Brent - September 2026 Start - Full-Time

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a welcoming and high-achieving secondary school in Brent seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2026 on a full-time, long-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable school-based experience and develop the skills needed for a future career in education.
Graduate Teaching Assistant - Role OverviewAs a Graduate TA, you will support students across KS3 and KS4, working closely with teachers to enhance learning and engagement. Your responsibilities will include:
*Supporting students in lessons on a 1:1 and small group basis
*Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management
*Providing targeted support to students who need additional help
*Supporting pupils with SEN, EAL, or additional learning needs
*Helping to prepare lesson resources and materials
*Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to staff
*Promoting positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
*Contributing to a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements*A degree in any subject (Essential)
*A strong interest in pursuing a career in education or teaching
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*A proactive, enthusiastic, and adaptable approach
*Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
*Experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
